Abstract

GRDP is one of the economic data tools that can be used to evaluate the economic development performance of a region (province or district/municipality). To date, GRDP calculations are carried out using two approaches: the production (industry) approach and the expenditure approach, for both annual and quarterly periods.The publication "Gross Regional Domestic Product of Baubau Municipality by Expenditure, 2020–2024" specifically discusses GRDP using the expenditure/final demand approach. This approach is broken down into six components: Household Consumption Expenditure, Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households (NPISH) Consumption Expenditure, Government Consumption Expenditure, Investment (Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Changes in Inventories), and Net Exports (Exports minus Imports). The GRDP data in this publication uses 2010 as the base year and applies the 2008 System of National Accounts (SNA) concept as recommended by the United Nations.To all parties who contributed to the realization of this publication, as well as to government institutions and private organizations/companies that provided data support for its preparation, we extend our highest appreciation.We hope this publication is beneficial to all those who need it.
